Specifications
There are five basic pieces of information needed to provide a quote. These include Type of tag, Material, Size, No of Colors, and Quantity. Once a custom quote is obtained, the artwork can be created or supplied which would contain the necessary additional info to create your custom tag (i.e. The exact size and shape of the tag, the specific colors and type (spot or process), etc.). The minimum order for most custom tags depends on the no. of colors as shown below:
A variety of tag materials and paper stocks are available as substrate. The most common stocks are 10pt C1S (Coated one Side) and C2S tag stock. Paper tags are also available in thicknesses ranging from 8pt to 18pt. Other common stocks include thermal and thermal transfer tag, Fluorescent Tag, Clear & white Poly tags and Self Adhesive paper & film tag stock. Over 25 colors are considered A B B standard colors, including the colors on the first two pages of a Pantone® color book, as shown here (Colors vary from actual printed color depending on the monitor used. Also substrate and whether it is coated or uncoated will have an effect on the final printed color.). Any other color, specified by a PMS® number or a sample can be matched at a nominal charge of $29.
All tags are produced with stringent quality standards for a smooth and easy application. In automatic applications the final packaging also needs to be clearly specified including whether the tags are to be on rolls or fanfold, quantity per roll (typically 1,000), inside core diameter (standard 3" core ID), and roll unwind direction (specify by number):

Our staff of professional graphic designers utilize a series of fully networked PowerMac & PC computers loaded with all the major graphics software. We can create or refine the most demanding tag designs. A B B utilizes various shipping & delivery methods to optimize turnaround and reduce costs. These include United Parcel Service (for most orders), Federal Express (for rush jobs), Yellow Freight (for oversized shipments) and a fleet of A B B vans (for local deliveries). A sizable number of customers also prefer to 'will call' their orders due to the convenient location (downtown Los Angeles) and accessability of A B B (easy access from Freeways 5, 10, 60, 101, 110, and 710). A B B accepts a variety of options as forms of payment. These include cash, check (bank, company or personal) and all major debit and credit cards. Standard terms for first time orders are 50% deposit plus balance due COD. For future orders Net 30 terms can be established upon submittal of credit application and approval of credit. |
